A development of 11 separate one-bedroom houses, Chaitung House has been created by its local Thai owner to give visitors an authentic Thai rural lifestyle experince with all the comforts of modernity.
Located amongst rice fields on a private plot of 11 acres and with 24-hour security, all bedrooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite hot water showers. A dedicated team is on hand 24 hours a day to take care of cleaning, laundry and to cook breakfast, and food and drinks are available throughout the day. And to ensure you really feel at home satellite television is available in all 11 units.
Korat city with its modern shopping malls, restaurants and nightlife is just 40 minutes’ drive away and the smaller city of Buriram just an hour’s drive, providing guests with the peace and solitude of a rural Isaan lifestyle while still having access to all the diversions of a modern city.
Once a part of the Khmer empire and part of Thailand since the early 19th century, Buriram borders Cambodia to the south and is rich in historical sites, including the remains of several Khmer temples and sanctuaries, and places of cultural interest.
The city of Buriram is the main city of Buriram province, its name meaning “City of Happiness”. The province of Buriram is a rice growing area and the gentle pace of life in this rural, yet interesting and hostorical province and the friendliness of the people reflect the traditional Thai way of life.
